1. General Information

1.1 Can my camper check themselves in and out of camp?

No. A parent, guardian, or other responsible adult must be present for your child to be released.

1.2 Can my child take medication while at camp?

Yes, with written permission from the parent and instructions that match the directions on the medicine.

1.3 Can we tour camp?

Ahead of camp, we offer a meet-and-greet opportunity at the camp location. Please reach out for details.

1.4 Do you take field trips at camp?

Yes. The schedule is shared with parents ahead of time, and all necessary waivers are provided. It is the parent’s responsibility to sign the waiver for their child to participate. We take buses and follow strict safety measures to ensure the safety of all campers.

1.5 What are the hours of camp?

8:30 AM – 3:00 PM

1.6 Is there an option for early drop-off or late pick-up?

At this time, we are not offering early drop-off or after-care.

1.7 What if my camper might need One-to-One support while at camp?

Contact us ahead of time to let us know what support your camper needs. We will do our best to accommodate each camper’s needs.

1.8 What is the age range for camp?

5 – 12 years old

1.9 How do you manage food allergies?

We are a nut-free camp and ask all campers to adhere to this rule. If your child has other allergies, please contact us so we can create a plan to support your child’s needs.

1.10 How does drop-off and pick-up work?

Drop-off: Enter the parking lot from Lawn Ave and follow the cones to the main entrance. Stay in your vehicle while we unload your camper. Pull forward onto 53rd St to exit. Staff will greet your child outside.

Pick-up: Follow a similar flow. Counselors will greet you, radio inside to have your camper ready, and ensure they safely

1.11 How will lunch and snacks work at camp?

Campers must bring their own nut-free lunch. SCA provides appropriate snacks throughout the day. On field trips, campers may bring their own money to purchase additional snacks.

1.12 Will there be water play at camp?

Yes! Water play is a favorite activity. Campers are often asked to come in swimsuits and bring a change of clothes and towel. This is communicated ahead of time.

1.13 How are campers grouped (by age, grade, or activity level)?

Campers are grouped by grade. Kids can move freely between activities and groups to pursue their interests and foster friendships.

1.14 What is the camper-to-staff ratio?

Our camper to counselor ratio is 8-1.

1.15 What is your EIN?

For tax purposes, our FEIN number is 46-4351682.

1.16 How do I get on the waitlist?

2. Registration & Payments

2.1 Do you offer sibling or multi-week discounts?

There is no sibling discount; however, discounts are applied for the second and third weeks of camp.

2.2 What is your cancellation/refund policy?

Full refunds, less any credit card fees, are offered through May 1. After May 1, no refunds are issued.

2.3 Can I switch sessions after registering?

If there is availability, you may register your child for a different session and cancel the initial session, provided it is done before May 1.

2.4 What payment methods do you accept?

ACH, Mastercard, Visa, and Discover. Parents are responsible for any fees resulting from declined credit cards, insufficient funds, or other payment issues.
