With the comfort and security of the Midwest Buddhist Temple, we utilize space within the social hall. We use crafts, multimedia outlets, the open floor space, and the classrooms in the Temple to continue our adventures.

Your child should bring a lunch in a labeled bag. The lunches will be refrigerated during the camp day and put in coolers when we leave on an adventure. Campers will also be given a snack at the end of each day.

Your child should also bring a backpack with a labeled water bottle and sunscreen to camp. If other items are needed for specific camp outings and events, parents will be notified ahead of time. A change of clothes is recommended to keep on hand for the duration of camp.

Campers should come to camp wearing a t-shirt, shorts, and athletic shoes. This will allow them to participate in every adventure. Additionally, for outdoor activities, children should wear sunscreen! When we are on an adventure outside of our home base, we request that students wear their Summer City Adventures t-shirt.

Our campers are incoming JK -Sixth Grade (Fall 2019).

Our counselors are teachers from Catherine Cook School. Each counselor has many years of experience working at various summer camps and will provide the ultimate camp experience for each child at Summer City Adventures.
